16 years of experience specializing in structural engineering design and design project management. Expertise with and experience in all types of structural systems specializing in buildings, vertical towers, and other structures; cast‐in‐place concrete and steel construction and foundation design. Practicing Structural Engineering engaging structural engineering design and analysis for various companies as Makati Medical Centre, SM Prime Holdings (Billboards/Signage), Avolution Inc., Amigo Entertainment Technology Inc. (Billboards/Signage), American Technologies Inc. (Energy Development Corporation Tower Projects), Pasig City Government (Structural Consultant for Design of New Buildings and Building Stability Check of Existing Government Buildings and Structures), DPHI‐STOLZ (BMEG/SAN MIGUEL FOOD INC. Plants), Bohol Water Utilities, Inc. and for various construction companies as AGA & Sons Const. & Dev't. Corp. etc. Former Principal Structural Engineer deployed to China Communication Services Philippine Corporations handling DITO Projects as Base Station Local Structural Design Team Leader and Consultant under Guangdong Planning and Designing Institute of Telecommunications Co., Ltd. Currently, Founder, CEO and President of MEG Technical Consultancy OPC.
 

Active Regular member of Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines and Former Partner and senior structural engineer of Abinales Associates Engineers + Consultants engaging in structural engineering design for various companies as PLDT, SMART Communications, GLOBE Telecom, SUN CELLULAR-DIGITEL Mobile Philippines, Bayan Telecommunications (BAYANTEL), WI-TRIBE Telecoms, GMA7 Network, ABC TV5, Bell Telecommunications Philippines (BELLTEL), Manila Water Company (MWCI), Phinma Property Holdings Corporation (PPHC), and for various construction companies (THAISON, WITCO, FIRST BALFOUR, EFORMULA, COMMTREND, CSEMSCORP, CNZ CONST, MIJAC, MCS CONST, RDBTECSON etc.) involved in design-and-build schemes.   

Expertise in detailed structural engineering design; Experience in detailed design involving various disciplines, design management and construction supervision; Skills include detailed structural design of various structural systems in buildings, towers and other vertical structures (concrete and steel construction), foundation substructures and coordination with multi-disciplined design teams.  

Familiar with NSCP (National Structural Code of the Philippines), TIA 222-G and TIA 222H, ASCE7, ACI (American Concrete Institute), AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) and AASHTO Specifications. Proficient in structural engineering software such as OPEN Tower, Staad Foundation Advanced, STAAD Pro V8i, ETABS, RAM, Midas Civil, MIDAS Gen, MIDAS Design+, ACECOM’S GEAR, PCA COL, SAFE, and design and drafting software such as AutoCAD and other software such as AUTODESK REVIT (3D Rendering - Revit Architecture and Revit Structure), 3Ds Max (3D Rendering), Sony Vegas Pro, Acid Pro, Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft programs such as Microsoft Office.
